we are and what we do!
TiC, Theatre in the Community, established in
1995, offers an exciting programme of drama, movement and music workshops,
all sessions are structured to introduce and develop skills to the highest
level of professional theatre. Led by professional resident / guest tutors,
workshops explore all aspects of the performing arts culminating in professionally
staged productions throughout the year.
TiC also provide a comprehensive drama school audition service, which
has resulted in students being accepted into leading performing arts establishments
within the UK.
In addition TiC
is available to co-ordinate and facilitate performance or visual
arts workshops tailored to the individual needs of school or community
organisations. TiC
Outreach and Satellite Workshops
TiC, will be offering a series of specialised MasterClasses
during 2008-2009, including Circus Skills, Directing, Percussion, Profile
and CV Writing, Street Dance, Theatre Make-up and TV Acting.
Indeed, TiC, Theatre in the Community are committed to providing young
people with the highest level of theatre education available.
TiC is fully supported by a fully constituted Parents & Friends Association
who support Production planning and organise various social and fund-raising
events throughout the year.
